Let Your Yes Be Yes and Your No Be No.

     I was speaking to one of my patients today and she was telling me of a situation that a lady promised her a certain amount of money back and then the lady changed her mind. That is really a rotten thing to do as well as unethical.
     The word of God says that we are to be true to our promises, but unfortunately there are too many of us that do not practice that including those who have Jesus in their lives. My question is why? Why are we so quick to say we will do something just to take it back later. Wouldn't it be so much easier to just say I am not able to do that or I do not have the time depending on what the situation is?
     What do you think?
