How Do You Live Your Life?

Do you glorify God or do you glorify your circumstances?
Do you lift up God and give Him praise?
What is truly important to you?
Do you go by feelings or does God's truth rule in your heart?

How we live our lives affects all those around us. We can either be a postive influence or a negative influence.
We are to portray God in all that we say and do.

As we revere God in all things then we will find things happening in our own lives.
Our problems will no longer seem so overwhelming and our paths will become more evident/straighter because God is working on our behalf.

"I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.
My soul will boast in the Lord; Let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together." Psalm 34:1-3

"in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:6

Let us maintain our focus on Christ our Lord and in so doing forge ahead in the destiny that God has set for us.

Be blessed my friends,
Shifra

Graduation Time

My daughter is going to graduate High School next Friday and I am kind of in two places with it. One, I am so proud of her and her accomplishments and two, it seems so quick. Like where did the years go to? Now I know what my parents must of felt like. I mean she only just graduated Kindergarten, right?

In August she will be off to PBA majoring in Christian Counseling and minoring in dance. The house is going to seem so empty. I guess I have to kick the kid out of the nest adventurally, but can't we wait a few more years? She is going to be so far away, at least 45 minutes to an hour. Okay, so she can come home to visit, but will she want to? She may find campus life too much of a blast and forget about us. We only brought her up after all. We cleaned her skinned knees and more. We helped with the homework..... We should get the scholarships for raising them!!!!

Okay I am done with the ranting and raving.

For all those parents with graduating children this year--my hat is off to you.

Take care my friends and be blessed,
Shifra

Justice Has Been Served

Finally, after ten years, Osama Bin Ladin, has been killed due to the valiant efforts of our troops. Thank you all and God bless you!

The question that still remains is whether or not Osama will meet with his 'virgins' or will he go before the judgment seat of God?

God is specific in His word that we will all go before His judgment seat and I for one am very glad I am not in Osama's shoes.

God once again had His way and Osama had to bow his knee. Everyone will have to bow their knee whether it is while they are still here on earth or in death. We can only hope that those who believe in false gods will come to recognize that their belief system is off.

Lord, woo them by Your Holy Spirit, and love them into Your kingdom. In Yeshua's name.

Be blessed,
Shifra
