Purple

I'm in a purple mood today and I think it is because purple is royalty.
As a child of God I am in the royal family. The priestly kingdom.
This is the place I want to be in. There is no better place than the family of God.

God's word says that we are of the royal priesthood:
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1Peter 2:9-10 NIV
The Message, says it like this: ^9-10"But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted."

What a blessing it is to be able to proclaim all that He has done for us and continues to do for us.

We should not allow ourselves to be complacent and take Him for granted. He is our Daddy and we need to acknowledge that on a daily basis. We need to honor Him in all that we say and do.

My prayer for us all is that we will uphold our calling and go forth in His might and His strength.
